Job Description : $500 Sign On BonusPosition Overview: The Front Desk Agent serves guests by completing registration and controlling room assignments.The position welcomes and registers guests, establishes credit, directs guests to room,relays messages, answers questions about services, maintains and updates records, obtainspayments, makes reservations, and secures valuables.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Willingness to accept the most effective roleProjects professional tone at all timesWelcomes guest by greeting, answering questions, and responding to requestsRegisters guest by obtaining or confirming room requirements, verifying pre-registration, assigning room, obtaining information and signatures, and issuing guest room keysEstablishes credit by verifying credit cards or obtaining cashDirects guest to room by showing location on mapConveys information to guest by receiving and transmitting messages, mail, facsimiles, packages, etc.Provides concierge duties to guest by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services guest may require, such as entertainment, business, shopping, and travelMaintains records by entering room and guest account dataCollects revenue by entering services and charges, computing bill, and obtaining paymentMakes hotel and other reservations by entering or telephoning requirements, checking availability, confirming requirementsSecures guest’s valuables by processing lost and foundContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededOther duties as specified by Management on an “as need” basisQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent experienceUses customer-oriented telephone etiquette to receive informationGreets callers, establishes rapport and projects professional tone at all timesLift up to ten (10) pounds, unassistedSit and/or stand for long periodsJob Type: Part-timePay: From $17.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Signing bonusAbility to commute/relocate:Mount Laurel, NJ 08054: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
