Job Description : Job SummaryOur Front Desk Receptionists performs various receptionist and clerical tasks in a primary care provider setting. Such tasks such as answering and transferring calls, greeting and assisting patients, scheduling, collecting office visit copays, filing, and data entry are required. Must have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced setting. Must have the ability to effectively work and communicate with your team, staff and our physicians, and promote positive working relationships. Must have the ability to interact with patients over the phone as well in the office, and to see their point-of-view and respond in a timely and appropriate manner. Must have the ability to handle difficult issues with courtesy and professionalism.As a Front Desk Receptionist, you agree to the following:Work a full-time position. The shifts are evenings and weekends; nine (9) hour workdays with a one (1) hour lunch break and two (2) days off during the weekdays.Work one (1) holiday throughout the year. The holidays our office observes and are open half-day are New Years Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving. We are closed for Christmas.Have open availability. Coverage is important to the Front Desk, therefore, you are expected to cover a shift if another team member calls out.BenefitsBenefits include: 100% medical, vision and dental after 1 month, sick leave accumulated after 90 days, 10 days of vacation, 2 personal days and 401k after 1 year of employment.Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum one (1) year prior office experience preferred but optionalComputer literacy required in Microsoft Word and Excel with word processing and spreadsheetsOperate various office equipment, such as copiers, document and card scanners, and credit card machine terminals effectively and efficientlyPleasant personality, professional demeanor, well-groomed and professional attire requiredAdditional requirements may apply and change without notice, including, but not limited to, criminal background check and health clearanceResponsibilitiesUnder general supervision, and in accordance with Company policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:Answers all incoming phone calls and directs them to the proper extension accurately and in a timely mannerGreets walk-in patients ensuring prompt serviceMakes appointments for patientsEnters patient demographic information into EMR as applicableAccepts/receives payments for services and balances opening and closing cash and credit card reportsMaintains front office area to present a clean and professional environmentAdheres to established safety, confidentiality, compliance and legal requirementsMust have reliable and consistent attendance and comply with company guidelines on attendancePerforms other duties as assigned by department supervisorPhysical Capabilities Light to moderate physical effortOccasional carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects; and lifting of up to 25 lbs may be requiredOccasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouchingFrequent prolonged sitting, occasional standingMust be able to see, hear and respond adequatelyFrequent use of telephone and other office equipmentHow To ApplyPlease stop by and drop off a resume and fill out an application.
