Job Description : SummaryCheck in/out grooming clientsAnswer the phone and make appointmentsAccept cash & count changeData inputtingKnowledge of fees and policies, answering client questions accordinglyAssess pet condition by interviewing pet owner and inspecting petCalling Veterinary clinics for vaccination record upkeepHelping pet owners with their petsPerforming daily opening/closing tasks listed without needing supervisionPerforming any work directed by management and/or being proactive to itReporting any and all pet abnormalities, concerns, or incidences to managementArrive 15 minutes prior to opening to prepare for initial client intakeQualifications/EducationRequired: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, policies, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Preferred: 1-2 years of office or related experienceSpecial SkillsStrong organizational, communications, and sales skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task with minimal supervision and/or delegationReliable and flexible schedulingEnthusiastic personalityBasic math, logic reasoning, and computer skillsJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Fredericksburg, VA 22406: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
