Responsible for assisting guests, making recommendations for products, ensure accurate bag fulfillment, cash handling and provide stellar customer service to ensure repeat business.Essential Functions· Responsible for assisting guests in the retail locations in accordance with Emerald Fields mission, vision, goals, and objectives.· Responsible for retail product knowledge to assist customers in making the selection process; maintain working knowledge of our specials, promotions, including weekly/daily specials; drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling and sharing product knowledge.· Responsible for completing any work assigned to them during their scheduled shift, as well as customer service, including:o Answering the phone and greeting walk-in guestso Accurately use and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) systemo Correct cash handling and discount applicationo Accurate and timely data entry of guest profileso Maintenance of hard copy files (when required)o Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for guests in accordance with MED regulationso Engage and Interact with Guests in a positive, empathetic, courteous and professional demeanor at all timeso Security measures and safety complianceo Store organization and cleanlinesso Ensure daily opening/closing checklists are completed by the start/end of each shifto Maintain open communication with the management team and other co-workersBag Fulfillment:o Review printed slip to ensure accuracy of ordero Stockingo Communicate with Inventory Lead on Product Levelso Ensure addons/removals/adjustments are correctly applied to ordersProvide any necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations, including: daily activities, maintenance, as well as report issue(s) and/or guest complaints to upper management immediately.Responsible for abiding by Emerald Fields Safety Program.Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and following Emerald Fields established policies for sales and customer service.All other duties as assigned.Additional Functions· Knowledge and adherence to the policies, procedures and goals of Emerald Fields.Competencies· Knowledge and consistent demonstration of excellent customer service skills.· Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.· Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software· Ability to work effectively with employees, management, guests, governmental agencies, community members and the general public.· Team Player Mindset· Ability to count cash accurately/Basic Mathematical Skillset· Customer Satisfaction Oriented· Ability to work under pressure during high volume days/times.· Able to multitaskAdditional Requirements· Valid Driver’s license or State ID card· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age· Must pass any and all required background checks· Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry· Must have a current MED Badge and retain during length of employment· Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures.Minimum Education and Experience· High School Diploma or equivalent· 2+ year previous retail/customer service requiredWorking Conditions · While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.· PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 25 pounds (25+ pounds with assistance), may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
