Job Description : Healthcare Project ManagerFull-time position with excellent benefits, generous time off, flexibility, and your Birthday is always a day offSalary: $71,000 – $76,000, depending on experienceHybrid: remote & in-person at our Shoreline officeInterviews will be held on April 6th, 2022, 9am-1pm and April 8th, 2022, 2pm-5pmWe are excited to announce a new position that will work collaboratively with the Healthcare Industry Leadership Table (HILT) for Seattle-King County. The Healthcare Industry Leadership Table is a self-convened network of healthcare organizations (big and small) in Seattle-King County who come together to share and take action on improving access to a skilled healthcare workforce. It was launched in May 2018 by a group of healthcare leaders (King County Public Health, Kin On Assisted Living, International Community Health Services, Swedish, Children’s, Kaiser Permanente) as a way to identify shared priorities across our region’s healthcare providers, and mobilize around shared solutions. The Healthcare Project Manager will help build a Career Connected Learning system partnering with industry leaders, education leaders, and community leaders to bring career exploration activities to the talent pipeline and recruitment efforts. These workstreams currently include career event planning, mentoring, a speakers bureau, and a career video library.The Healthcare Project Manager will serve as the primary contact and convener of each of the workstreams that have healthcare providers, education, community-based organizations, and other key stakeholders involved. They will also manage the technology platforms that will make this work possible.This position reports directly to the Vice President of Washington Alliance for Better Schools. To learn more about the HILT, please visit https://www.seakinghilt.com and to learn about WABS, please visit: https://www.wabsalliance.orgJob ResponsibilitiesAlign the overall work and outcomes to the HILT Talent Pipeline Committee scope of work and foster communication between the four workstreams and the leaders in the Talent Pipeline Committee.Collaborate with all partners in a workgroup model when support is required. This scope of work may include:Leading outcome-focused meetings with industry, community-based organizations, education systems, and other key partners as needed to plan, implement and revise the work.Keeping a record of the work and moving it forward to the next steps.Consolidating and sharing data on the progress of workgroups and student participation to the Talent Pipeline Committee membersMeeting any additional reporting requirements, including quarterly reports.Increase awareness and disseminate information about the healthcare Career Connected Learning opportunities and help create equitable access for all students and families.Identify local barriers and design a plan to reduce those barriers within your program or through your partnerships.Foster trust and increase opportunities in historically marginalized communities.Serve as the primary point of contact for Career Connected Learning opportunities offered through the HILT.Manage the content housed on all technology platforms that are needed to provide a one-stop-shop to facilitate the critical components of the workstreams and to maximize the efficacy for all stakeholders (students, teachers, and community and industry partners).Manage and report on the budget provided for this work.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsExcellent meeting facilitation skills and planning, both online and in-personExcellent project-management skills with a strong understanding of workflowExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenExperience managing large tech platforms that promote participation and collaboration. The ability to quickly learn and navigate new tech platforms.
