Edge strives to develop a culture that is performance-based and is passionate about our employee’s success.Major Job ResponsibilitiesThe Human Resources Manager designs, plans, and implements company programs and policies including staffing, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training programs for all levels of staffing.Human Resources Manager Job Responsibilities: Leadership team member that motivates strong work culture and is passionate about our employees.Coach and counsel all employees on the company’s expectations, philosophy, and values.Coordinate all aspects of Talent Management; including succession, retention, and recruitment strategies to meet organizational goals and requirements.Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, evaluating, and modifying employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.Supports organization staff by establishing a recruiting and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting orientation, developing an onboarding program for employees, developing training programs, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, and recommending changes.· Ensures all pre-employment requirements such as interviews, drug tests, background checks and reference checks are completed in a timely manner.Manages a compensation plan by conducting periodic wage surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; monitoring and scheduling individual wage adjustments; and recommending, planning, and implementing compensation structure revisions.Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employees and supervisors.Implements employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids; awarding benefit contracts.Communicate with management on current employee issues and environment.Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, assist with safety program to follow OHSA standards, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.Manages Unemployment Claims by gathering all needed information and disputing claims.Manages Workers Compensation Claims by conducting an investigation and appealing the appropriate claims.Enforces management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records.Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.Recommend appropriate changes in procedures to promote greater efficiency, cost savings and other benefits.Facilitates positive employee relation activities including employee involvement and recognition programs to maintain a climate of trust and confidence.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.Human Resources Manager Qualifications / Skills: · A positive attitude, with the ability to influence change· Recruiting and onboarding employees· Perform human resources management· Manage benefits administration· Establish performance management programs· Perform compensation and wage structure recommendations· Thorough knowledge of employment laws· Knowledgeable on federal and state Laws against sexual harassment· Skilled in organization development· Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing· Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines· Familiar with Microsoft Office programs and IQMS payroll and HR system or the ability to learnEducation and Experience Requirements: · Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required· 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles· 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations· 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role· PHR/SPHR certificate preferredJob Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Mansfield, OH 44902: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Microsoft Office: 4 years (Preferred)Human resources management: 5 years (Preferred)Employment & labor law: 3 years (Preferred)Supervising: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Professional In Human Resources (Preferred)Work Location: One location
