Job Description : Position: Live-in Nanny
Schedule: Full-time, Wed. – Sun. (6:30am – 8:30pm) with flexibility for additional hours as needed
Location: New York, NY (UES)
Accommodations: Separate bedroom and bathroom
Salary: $100,000 plus full benefits and 2 weeks’ vacation
A lovely family of five is seeking a bright, proactive Live-in Nanny to assist in providing care for their 3 children (ages 7, 3 and an infant) and their activities. Parents are seeking to integrate someone into their home who is a team player and will be treated respectfully and supportively in return. Long-term high net worth household experience is preferred.
Duties:Attend to all of children’s needs, including:
o Feeding
o Taking them to school
o Daily cooking for children only
o Washing & keeping inventory of their clothes, accessories, food, and bathroom cleaning supplies
o Walking the children outside, keeping them active, keeping their areas tidy, and assist with homeworkWhen not attending to the children, responsibilities include:
o Helping around the house with dishes, clearing tables, taking out the trash, keeping personal spaces tidy (bed, washroom, drawers, laundry, etc.), running small errands as neededFlexibility to travel with family as needed (domestic and international); the family does not travel frequentlyNo driving required
Key Success Factors:Discreet and respectful of the employer’s privacyHave a positive attitude and eager to help out wherever possible throughout the dayGood time management skillsPossess a keen eye for detailPrior experience working in NYC a plusNon-smokerFully vaccinated
Security/Safety Responsibilities:Be familiar with emergency procedures
STRONG emphasis on understanding and abiding by security/safety policies and procedures; anything otherwise will not be tolerated
Compensation and Benefits:$100,000 plus full benefits and 2 weeks’ paid vacation
