Position : Media Assistant/Digital Coordinator
Job Description : Leading Republican media firm in Alexandria, VA seeks a Media Assistant/Digital Coordinator. This position is an entry level employee who provides administrative support to the general operations of the agency’s media team. Media assistants are expected to work closely with the media team by performing tasks related to media research, planning and placement for a fast-paced, conservative, political media buying agency. You will directly help a team of media planners and buyers develop, execute, and monitor media buys. Media assistants develop and maintain working relationships with media vendors across the country. You will also work directly with our in-house CPAs to facilitate timely and accurate media payments to vendors, along with post-campaign reconciliations.Media assistants must be organized, have good communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office – specifically Word and Excel – and have the ability to multi-task as a team player. You must be able to work independently and function as a member of the broader team, too. You must be a problem solver with the ability to think critically and apply both specific media concepts and general professional practices to your daily work.Our clients include political candidates, PACS, interest groups and major political committees.
