Position : Now Hiring – Service Navigator
Job Description : Service Navigator
Is responsible for coordinating and accessing necessary financial, housing, public benefits and other case management resources for clients with mental illnesses and/or substance use disorders, consistent with the service plan, based on referrals from other case managers and/or clinicians within the agency. This position works closely with clients, the agency treatment team, and community stakeholders in order to help move the client towards their path of recovery.
Primary duties:
Provides linkage to other needed services: accessing necessary financial, housing, public benefits and other case management resources
Promotes inclusion
Helps develop independence
Connects clients with the community and natural supports.
Requirements include:
Associates Degree or equivalent education, training or experience
Organizational skills and ability to meet time deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact with individuals with mental health and or developmental disabilities.
Must have a current Alaska Driver’s License.
Ablity to pass a State background check.
Current opening includes: Full time benefitted position
Benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, PTO, 401K
Salary Range: $18.00-$24.00 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
