Job Description : Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday – Friday 2:00 PM to 11:00 PMLab Logistics is a medical logistics company that partners with numerous large hospital and laboratory systems throughout the United States to meet their courier needs.As a growing industry, Lab Logistics is looking for motivated, dedicated professionals to join our team.This opportunity is an idle entry level position with great potential for growth and development!Please see below for a brief description of this role’s responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDispatch orders and monitor dispatch board for potential issuesMaintain suppliesConsolidate medical specimen dropsCommunicate all client issues to direct supervisorMonitor status of deliveries and pickups to ensure timely delivery to clientAssist couriers as needed to help ensure routes are completed to client expectationsReview route sheets for accuracyMonitor and utilize web-based applications, tools, and reportEnsure policies and procedures as defined by clients and the company are being metPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience with courier software system a plusMust be extremely detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-taskAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentCritical thinker with strong analytical skill setAbility to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the organizationExperience working with couriers (drivers) and/or independent contractors, labs, hospitals & airlines a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.50 – $24.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityExperience:Dispatching: 1 year (Preferred)Customer Service: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
