Position : Operations Manager and Administrator

Job Description : We are a vibrant and inclusive progressive Christian faith community seeks an Operations Manager and Administrator to lead us in our service to others. We are committed to work in the world that seeks justice, promotes peace and racial reconciliation, builds community, defends creation, and upholds the dignity of each and every human being.Responsibilities: SupervisionSupervision of custodial staff or contracts, nursery providers, and of lay office and grounds staff, and quality control and oversight of their various job duties and functions.Physical Plant OversightCoordination of building use; hospitality and welcome to campus visitors and groups.Point of contact for vendors, renters, and building user groups, serve as property manager for Rectory, coordinate all security systems, internet technology and phone contractors and issues.Work in conjunction with St. Mary’s Junior Warden to provide oversight and upkeep of physical plant and campus.Human ResourcesCoordinate with bookkeeping service the coordination and tracking of personal leave time for employees, review and transmit all timesheets to bookkeeper.Maintain and oversee church personnel policies and procedures.AdministrationOrganization (Create and upkeep program and office filing systems, binders, contacts lists, Rector’s schedule and communications, document management, office organization, reference materials.)Research and reference, policies, recordkeeping, and background checks.Maintain church building lock and alarm weekly schedule, church project lists, and vendor information, insurance and clergy pension records, confidential personnel records, and other records required by Church, State and Federal law.Answer and maintain all letters of transfer and provide quality control for membership databases, contacts, and group e-mail lists.Management of competitive pricing and ordering of supplies and materials.FinancialTracking and coding of invoices, reimbursements, tracking of financial contributions, enter pledges into Realm, send out quarterly, mid-December, and year-end giving reports, transmit and record monthly credit card and/or online donations.CommunicationsCoordinate timely changes and content updates for any lighted signs or smart TV screens.Provide support for newsletter preparation and maintenance of website.CoordinationProvide support for routine and special projects and tasks, including insurance, report preparation, filing, personnel scheduling, ordering materials, and scheduling of contractors and vendors.Special projects, including capital campaigns, pledge in-gatherings, seasonal projects, etc.Problem-SolvingSpecial assignments, team leadership, and other duties as assigned by the RectorJob Type: Full-timePay: $44,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Office staff wear masks indoors.Ability to commute/relocate:Anchorage, AK 99507: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)Administrative experience: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
