We are bold, data-driven and collaborative.Our work environment includes:Modern office settingPosition open for a paralegal/executive assistant to a North Jersey solo practioner focusing on commercial litigation in New Jersey and New York. Successful candidate will be reliable, loyal, a proactive self starter who is disciplined, highly organized, detail orientated and resourceful. Must be a strategic thinker who is accountable/follows through and has strong interpersonal skills with experience dealing with clients. Responsible for day to day operation of the practice. This entails drafting subpoenas, summonses, discovery demands, motions; completing dictation in both Word and Wordperfect; filing through Ecourts (New Jersey/New York) and Pacer in Federal Courts; maintaining physical and virtual files; running calendar; entering and time in Mycase and sending billing (and follwups) to clients; paying invoices and recording receivables in Quicken/Quick books; delivering and receiving information via Dropbox; and scheduling meetings, depositions, etc. via Zoom or Teams. Though focus is on avoiding overtime there are occasional instances where it is a must.
