It also markets substantially to the snow removal industry, selling specialized Western, and Snow Ex snow removal equipment to both residential customers and commercial fleets.Position: Delivery DriverDepartment: Parts – AnchorageReports to: Parts ManagerPay Class: $17.00 – $19.00Summary Description: Assists Parts Department Manager in maintaining a smooth running, efficient parts department with a high degree of customer satisfaction. Delivers and picks up parts in a safe and timely manner. The ideal Automotive Parts Delivery Driver will have a passion for delivering customer care on an everyday basis. The Automotive Parts Delivery Driver must also have excellent driving aptitude for both manual and automatic vehicles.Key Results Areas: Parts Department OperationsCustomer ServiceMajor Duties and Responsibilities: Parts Department Operations:Pulls parts orders for deliveryLoads orders into delivery vehicleDelivers to customers location in a safe and timely mannerPulls orders for shipmentsHelps with shipping and receiving when neededKeeps vehicle clean at all timesStamina to stand and walk for entire work shiftClear speaking and attentive listening skillsCustomer Service: Provide superior customer serviceCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Current Alaska driver’s licenseForklift certificationPhysical Demands: Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach and handle tools.Occasionally requires the ability to lift 120 pounds of material.Frequently required to walk to all areas of the facility, both indoors and out.Working Conditions: Frequently works near moving mechanical parts.Is potentially exposed to battery acids, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.Occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes or airborne other particles.Frequently required to walk to all areas of the facility, both indoors and out.Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
