Position : Patient Access Representative
Job Description : Patient Access Rep (PAR) is responsible for the verification and collection of patient demographic and insurance information by direct data entry to the electronic medical record during the scheduling/pre-admit or admission process prior to discharge.PAR conducts either face to face or inbound/outbound telephonic interviews withy the patient or authorized representative to secure information specific to requested services.The position will also include responsibilities in the following areas:Patient Registration and Scheduling, Eligibility and Authorization Management, Financial Counseling, Revenue Cycle Support, Compliance and Safety.REQUIRED: – High School Diploma or GED- Keyboarding 25-35 words per minute- 1 year of call center or medical facility experience- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)- CPT and ICT10 code knowledge and experiencePreferred:- Medical Terminology CourseworkJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Cottonwood, AZ 86326: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: One location
