Job Description : Overview:

Are you looking for a program that will allow you to collaborate with healthcare leaders and fellow interns, while receiving training on the tools to succeed in the workforce? If this sounds exciting, then Atlantic Health System’s 10-week summer internship program may be great for you!
Responsibilities:
Research community offered respite care
Maintain a database of local and government agencies respite care assistance
Analysis of gaps vs. needs for caregivers, specifically targeting underinsured and uninsured
Explore possibilities to provide best practices support and resources for caregivers
Create a proposal for Atlantic Health System to review and implement
Draft and develop centralized Care Coordination website to highlight Community Health, Transitions of Care & Ambulatory Care Coordintaion, Post Acute Care, Social Work, Spiritual Care and others
Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university
US Citizen or permanent resident
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Strong communication, both written and verbal
Required: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Writing, Critical Thinking
Nice-to-have: Design/Presentation skills
