Job Description : Location:Lithonia, GADescription:A Production Associate is responsible for the picking, packing and portioning of meal kits for the client.No experience is needed for the Production Associate role. Training in areas of food safety, quality assurance and picking/packing and portioning procedures will be provided.This position is for a 24/7 operation.Responsibilities:Portioning, packing and picking of meal and ingredientsUsing proper measuring utensils to portion ingredientsLabeling packages and preparing items for shippingReceiving direction from Supervisor, Production Lead to fulfill production requirementsTransitioning between tasks when neededCollecting production and quality dataWorking as a team to reach shipping goalsFollowing all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) while onsiteUp keeping the cleanliness of your area and assisting in end of day cleanupRequirementsJob Requirements:General high school degree, or equivalent (e.g., GED) preferredAbility to meet attendance guidelines ( to include holidays, weekends, and overtime)Accuracy & attention to detailFlexibility and willingness to work on a teamSelf-motivationAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWork Environment and Physical Demands:work is performed in a refrigerated environment (38 degrees or below at all times)Team members must be able to stand for extended periods of time (Shift 8 hours)Team members must be able to lift up to 50lbsBSW is an Equal Opportunity EmployerPay & Benefits:At BSW, you’ll enjoy:Full time hoursBenefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401kDay, mid, and night shift options w/shift differentialsEmployee discounts through working advantageReady to get to work?
