Position : Production Supervisor – Cosmetic Contract Manufacturer
Job Description : Title: Production SupervisorReports to: Production ManagerKey Objectives:1. Production Supervisor ensures that production of products meets or exceeds efficiency and company quality standards.2. Ensures that production facilities and processes conform to GMP Standards.Responsibilities: 1. Supervises Line Leaders and Setup Personnel to ensure high productivity throughput, promotes safety and produce quality operation.2. Implements existing production [IOS] standards and make adjustments as necessary to product products within specification.3. Monitors quality of production output by reviewing hourly data.4. Develops and recommends improvements of equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.5. Oversees and or conducts training for all existing employees.6. Helps develop, update and maintain procedures and documentation for Line Production Data System.7. Oversees sanitation of facilities and grounds. Supervises and trains sanitation staff in frequency and methods of cleaning. Maintains MSDS for all chemicals used.8. Briefs with Production Manager and Director of Manufacturing on schedules and plans for upcoming jobs and events.9. Maintains schedule integrity and insures all SOPs are being followed.10.
