Job Description : Project ManagerIntegrated Mill Systems (IMS) is seeking qualified candidates for a project management position in our Irwin, PA office. IMS is a process automation solutions provider. We design, build, program, and implement controls and automation systems primarily in support of the metals producing and processing market. IMS provides a wide range of equipment and services for both new and retrofit projects. Our reputation reflects the pride we take in the outcomes we deliver.Position Overview: Responsible for managing automation projects ranging from $50,000 to $15,000,000. Project managers are responsible for executing multiple projects simultaneously. IMS is seeking candidates for our Pittsburgh, PA office.Primary Duties: Work with sales to define the project requirements at the onset of each projectDevelop project execution plansWork with assigned project engineers / teams to execute the scope of workControl internal equipment costs, labor costs, and deliveriesCoordinate and manage sub-contractors, including control of quality, cost, and deliveryEnsure project satisfies the proposed scope of work / customer specificationsInterface with the customer for reporting and resolution of issuesProvide status, spending, and schedule reporting to internal and external customersQualifications: Engineering degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation.Experience working with PLC, drives, and HMI products, as well as metals processing knowledge is strongly preferred.Willingness and desire to participate in ongoing training to maintain technical competency in automation products, software and complimentary areas.Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioExceptional communication skills both written and verbalTravel required approximately 25% of the time.Competitive Benefit Package: We offer a competitive benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental and life insurance.IMS is an Equal Opportunity EmployerCandidates are subject to reference checks, credit, criminal background and DMV checks, assessments, and a post-offer drug screen.
