Job Description : Job DescriptionPosition Title: Quality Manager/Internal Quality AuditorReports To: General Manager_______________________________________________________________________________Position Summary: The Quality Manager oversees the management of all matters related to the Quality Management. In accordance with the objectives of production Quality, the Manager is responsible to apply quality management and principles, and plays a significant role as strategic, managerial and operational level to help achieve objectives such as quality, cost, and delivery within an environment of continuous improvement.The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and establishing new procedures to improve the appropriate overall efficiency and reduce the cost of non-conformity in our business processes by using Quality Management Systems as a tool.Responsibilities: · Schedule and chair Management Review meetings.· Create meeting minutes and insure all issues are resolved by driving all open action items to completion.· Plan, Conduct, Maintain, and Monitor internal audits and provide findings to Management.· Create, maintain procedures, process flow diagrams, instructions, forms and checklists.· Work with process owners to maintain policies, procedures, and work instructions that are required which will meet the requirements of both the company and the customer.· Advise the management team on the status of Quality and efforts that are being implemented to improve the systems.· Disseminate and train staff on changes to Quality department documents.· Identify and implement actions to improve Quality performance and customer satisfaction.· Work with purchasing to review and approve suppliers.· Create and distribute internal and external surveys to customers, vendors, suppliers and staff to capture areas of improvement, and also best practices.· Participate as the Quality lead.· Monitor effectiveness of Quality Management process and procedures.· Provide support to Sr. Management focused on achieving quality policy and quality objectives to meet customer requirements.· Help establish and monitor compliance requirements.· Monitor and maintain customer complaints by documenting the description of the problem, direct cause, root cause, and corrective action.· Perform all other duties as assigned or required.Skills/Qualifications: In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position, the individual should possess the following:· Bachelors degree· Min 3 – 5 years of quality experience with supervisory/leadership experience· Lead auditor or internal quality auditor experience· Knowledge of statistics (collection of data and results)· Excellent communication skills and ability to create and revise procedures and work instructions· Able to train on various quality and system related subjects· Able to use Microsoft office computer software· Able to work with different software applications· Ability to create electronic documents· Understand and assist in continuous improvement methods and opportunities· Able to identify problems and provide resolutions· High level of organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills including direct customer interactionJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Chandler, AZ 85248: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:ISO 9001: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
