Job Description : **PART TIME**OBJECTIVE:Airline service provider seeking courteous, self-motivated and highly dependable individuals capable ofproviding a SAFE and SECURE work environment under stressful situations and rigid time constraints.DESCRIPTION:Ramp Agents are responsible for the SAFE and SECURE direction of all arriving and departing aircraft toand away from the gate. Ramp Agents are also responsible for the loading, unloading and transport ofcustomer baggage and freight, Airplane cabin cleaning and the servicing of aircraft, the proper use andmaintenance of ground service equipment and other duties as assigned.LOCATION;Norman Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL)MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Graduate or EquivalentBe at least 18 years of agePossess a valid driver’s licenseAble to read, write and speak the English language effectivelySuccessfully complete a ten (10) year background investigation including criminal history, FBIfingerprinting and pre-employment drug screeningAuthorized to work in the U.S. as defined in the Immigration Act of 1986JOB REQUIREMENTS:Required to work flexible shifts, overnight, weekends and holidaysAble to lift, push and pull at minimum 70 pounds(70 lbs.) comfortablyCapable of climbing, bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping often and in tight spacesAble to work in various weather conditionsAble to work independently and within a team environmentEffective communication skillsFriendly and courteous demeanorAble to operate within expected timelinesDuties and Responsibilities:Responsible for maintaining a SAFE and SECURE cabin environment at all timesCompliance of all Clean/Safety procedures as designated by the Air Carrier, Station, and other entities.Ensuring proper use and maintenance of all cabin grooming equipment and suppliesService the interior of the aircraft; vacuuming, mopping the floor, picking up trash, cleaning lavatories,replacing headrests and pillow covers, folding blankets, refilling seat pockets with magazines and safetyinformationOther duties as assignedMarshaling of all aircraft on the ramp including the directing, towing and parking of said aircraftEnsuring proper use and maintenance of all ground service equipment (GSE)Responsible for providing accurate and careful handling of passenger baggage and freight during aircraftupload, download and transportService aircraft as needed including lavatories, potable water and cabin groomingContinued communication with Operations, Flight Crew, Passenger Service and other ground personnelOther duties as assigned.Apply online at https://www.fli-aviation.com/applyJob Type: Part-timePay: From $18.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityWork Location: One location
