Job Description : The Snow Removal Technician is responsible for working independently or as a team member under the direct supervision of the Foreman. Also responsible for the de-icing and clearing of snow from walks, driveways, parking lots, ramps, and gates for various commercial properties throughout Ted Stevens Airport in an efficient manner, promoting job worksite safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibiting pride and quality workmanship. We are primarily in need of a night Forman and night time crew members that can work 10 P.M. to 10 A.M. or 5 A.M. to 5 P.M.Laborer Duties Include:-Responsible for clearing snow and ice off pathways used by pedestrians in a timely manner- Use four-wheelers, snow blowers, power sweepers, and shovels to remove snowPlow Duties Include:- Operate pickup mounted snowplow- Operate pickup mounted sanders- Light Shoveling-Pre-trip and post-trip trucksOperators duties Include:-Operate various equipment to include;SkidsteerLarge loaders with a bucket or 20 ft push bladesDozerGradersVacuum truck-Light shoveling-Pre-trip and post-trip equipmentRequirements:-Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record to operate equipment and trucks.-Maintain a clean and safe job site, while ensuring the current landscape and property is not damaged in the efforts of removing snow.- It is required all Snow Removal Technicians have cold-weather gear and wear it appropriately to protect themselves against adverse weather conditions.- Keep accurate timesheet records, submitted for review and signoff by the required deadlines.- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned/instructed by Foreman.- Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels.- Maintain and care for company-provided equipment, tools, and vehicles.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $17.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysNight shiftOn callOvertimeWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):Are you located in Anchorage, Alaska?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
