Job Description : Position Summary: The Barista takes and prepares customer beverage orders to brand specifications and customer requests. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.This Starbucks is located in the JPMC Polaris building. Hours of the store are 6:30am-4pm M-F. We are not open on weekends or holidays. We offer full benefits, holiday pay and VAC/PTO.Essential Functions: Greets customers and takes orders; processes cash and credit card transactionsPrepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and the customers’ requestsServes prepared food itemsMaintains knowledge of menu items and recipes to effectively service the customerSets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizingMaintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitizedMaintains excellent customer service, anticipating guests needsAdheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitationMaintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.Ensures security of company assetsOther duties and tasks as assigned by managerQualifications: Previous experience as a barista or in a related position preferredDemonstrates excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalDemonstrates organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detailRequires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.Job Type: Full-timePay: $14.50 – $15.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offRetirement planTuition reimbursementVision insurancePhysical Setting:Coffee shopSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)Barista experience: 1 year (Preferred)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
