Position : Stockers/Shippers/Packers
Job Description : Position is responsible for storing and moving a variety of materials, parts, or products for the plant operation, specifically, unloading incoming materials, moving to storage area, storing, stocking, and arranging for possible first in, first out use.
Positions start at $17.00 per/hour
Shifts times: (9:30am to 6:30pm) or (8:00am to 5:00pm) or (7:00am to 3:30pm)
These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
Maintain proper housekeeping.
Assure that work meets expected quality standards. Understand CTQ’s.
Perform daily inspection of all the equipment and tools prior to use.
Use of specialized lifting devices including, forklifts, hoists, and manipulators as required.
Verify quantity, product, and count for incoming receipts.
Replenish inventory to designated levels on a daily basis.
Perform data entry utilizing Mfg system for stocking and receiving of material.
Maintain stock records, post receipts and withdrawals.
Deliver material in timely manner to and from designated production areas.
Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies.
Maintain proper housekeeping.
Assure that work meets expected quality standards. Understand CTQs.
Perform daily inspection of all the equipment and tools prior to use.
Provide guidance, training or mentoring for other team members as needed.
Perform other general duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications/Requirements:
18 years of age or older.
Ability to work overtime.
Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, for example safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
Willingness to work in a tobacco-free environment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and work instructions.
Lift up to 35lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to use hand tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, drills, wire strippers, and other miscellaneous tools.
Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices.
Ability to operate required lifting devices.
Ability to work with various materials and chemicals.
Basic math skills.
Frequent standing.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
(Shipper ONLY) Computer skills.
(Shipper ONLY) Ability to obtain forklift certification.
