Job Description : Unit Coordinator: Radford Health & Rehab located in Radford, VASummary:The Unit Coordinator is responsible for providing clerical support as part of a customer-focused, service excellence-oriented team.Essential Functions:*Maintains records of hospitalizations, patient travel, to facilitate coordination of patient scheduling, ancillary testing, and preparation of paperwork for physician visit*Answering telephone, relaying of messages and making phone calls*Contributes to the cleanliness and orderliness of the unit. Making of copies and keeping things up to date*Provide coordination between the Unit Managers, DON and the residents, patients, and family members to ensure effective communication*Ability to file necessary paperwork on the resident’s clinical record and all scanning of skilled patient information along with Therapy transfer sheets*Ability to assist when needed with transport of residents and/or other resident needs as assigned*Helps with 02 changes on a weekly basis*Helps with Central Supply stocking*Promote and demonstrate a culture of Service Excellence*Perform other duties as assignedJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:All staff is responsible of wearing masks and have taken COVID vaccinationExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
