Job Description : UX Researcher
Basic Qualification:
Nice to have a degree in Cognitive Psychology/Human Computer Interaction/Human Factors/Anthropology
2 to 8 years of professional experience in Qualitative & Quantitative research methods and tools
Proficiency in research planning, user recruitment, screener documentation, contextual inquiry, remote interviews, usability testing, survey, focus group, design thinking workshop, card sorting, ethnographic research, diary study and competitive analysis
Experience in conducting UX research in all the stages of the product life cycle
Proficiency in UX research tools such as UserTesting, UserZoom, Usabilla, Userlytics, Qualtrics, Dscout, Hotjar, Morae etc.
Ability to analyze UX research findings and convert them into actionable insights
Excellent communication skills
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research at all the stages of the product life cycle, from discovery to validation, using a variety of research methods
Conduct Design Thinking workshops with users and business stakeholders to understand their pain points, needs, wish-list, goals, vision and mission
Leverage analytics and UX research techniques to drive design direction and prioritization.
Plan and execute UX research agenda in sync with business goals
Guide stakeholders to translate insights into opportunities
Actively monitor and analyze research, data, and trends from internal sources, and industry insights to inform and optimize the overall approach
Collaborate to define intent, development, testing, and refinement of prototypes
Partner with various stakeholders such as designers, business analysts, product owners, project managers, content writers, developers, testing experts and accessibility experts to add UX research value to overall program
Play a client facing thought leadership role to add UX research value to one or multiple projects
Advocate and evangelize UX research across the organization
Mentor and coach junior UX researchers
