Job Description : TLC Home Care has part time weekend positions open.We are looking to hire dedicated and compassionate caregivers in the Fairbanks/North Pole area. Shifts vary from shorter shifts to 8 hour shifts and for some clients it may be a split shift. Caregivers provide assistance to client’s who may need help completing daily tasks.We are seeking someone who is a fast learner, compassionate, empathetic, patient, pays attention to detail, adaptable to client’s change in condition and care needs and is an effective communicator. Duties will be, but not limited to, the following:Alzheimer’s/Dementia CareMedication RemindersAssistance With MobilityPersonal Care and Hygiene AssistanceMeal preparationShopping/ErrandsEscort to Medical AppointmentsLight ChoresCompanionshipOnce 90-days of employment is reached there is a performance evaluation. At that time an employee may receive their first raise and additionally may qualify for advancement.Only accepting candidates who are currently living in Alaska, our local area at this time. Please specify if you are relocating to Alaska.
