While a strong background knowledge of these industries is preferred, it is not absolutely required. Your sales discipline, performance metric guidance, hard-work ethic, integrity and raw intellectual horsepower will make you successful and a valued contributor to the team.Responsibilities· Identifies business opportunities by analyzing prospects and their position in the industry; this includes researching and identifying sales opportunities.· Review existing customers purchase history to identify selling opportunities.· Maintain relationships with customers by providing technical support, information, and guidance.· Schedule appointments with existing customers and prospects. Follow up with internal and externally generated sales leads.· Qualify leads via outbound phone calls and emails.· Qualify inbound leads to determine opportunity scope and size.· Remain in constant contact with customers; it is your responsibility to understand their needs and recommend products and solutions.· Meet/ exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction.· Provide accurate quotes to customers.Qualifications· Mechanical and mathematical aptitude; most be comfortable with technical conversations regarding various industrial applications.· Previous experience in the field(s) of hydraulics, fluid handling, or manufacturing applications is highly desired.· Must have excellent customer follow up, and strategic / creative solution selling· Strong computer skills, CRM software (Salesforce) preferred· Knowledge of industrial distribution products· Bachelor’s Degree preferred· Valid driver’s license, with an acceptable MVRJob Type: Full-timePay: $65,000.00 – $150,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCommission payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Industrial Sales: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
