Job Description : Spherion Gainesville, FL has a client looking for an Accountant to handle daily fiscal and accounting transactions as well as coordinate and process the special programs. Let’s get to work.Temporary with the possibility of a permanent positionGainesville, FLSchedule: FT, M-F, 8am – 5pmSalary: $25 – 30/hrPlease email resumes to Lou CarltonRESPONSIBILITIES: – Request and submit information in PeopleSoft, appropriately tag all sections with fees- Collect data for courses- Process payments- Reconcile accounts to ensure transactions (especially payroll) have been processed as requested- Perform a variety of accounting functions- Review and reconcile accounts; monitor fund balances before transferring additional funds- Prepare financial reports and submit to Director of Finance before releasing additional funds- Reconciliations are required monthly- All inaccuracies or incomplete information should be noted, investigated, and corrected in a timely manner- Assist the Director with budget preparation- Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS: – Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting and two years’ experience- Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel- Effective written and oral communication skills- Ability to plan, organize, coordinate work assignments and complete work according to scheduled deadlines- Ability to work with large amounts of data and possess excellent analytical skillsAre you ready to start your next career?
