Position : Accounts Payable Manager
Job Description : Are you looking for permanent placement, contract, or temp-to-hire accounts payable opportunities? Look no further, Vaco has multiple openings in the Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton areas for accounts payable professionals! This accounts payable manager will be responsible for reviewing and processing invoices, auditing credit card bills, answer vendor inquiries, and manage a team of 10 direct reports.
Responsibilities
Handle store location direct ship payments and ensure their compliance
Communicate with vendors and respond professionally to their inquiries
Perform audits for tax accounting
Crosscheck purchase orders (PO’s) to vendor invoices, and customer invoices
Develop and innovate on accounts payable processes for the department
Manage a team of 10 direct accounts payable specialist reports
Perform monthly bank settlements
Prepare documentation for external auditors
Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business field (Finance)
Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience
Minimum of 2 years of management experience (will also look at individuals with heavy AP and light management experience)
Highly skilled dealing with financial and numeric data
Proficiently skilled at Microsoft Excel
Experience with Sage software is a plus
Must have exceptional attention to detail, bias for action
Ability to remain calm when faced with deadlines and multiple priorities
Comfortability in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to function as part of a team
