Position : Aircraft Maintenance Controller
Job Description : The Maintenance Controller is responsible for coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft. This is an office position (non-remote). The incumbent will be required to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance to Palm Beach, FL. Various shifts are available. Training will be provided for the right candidate.JOB DESCRIPTION: MAINTENANCE CONTROLLERFLSA STAUS: NON-EXEMPTREPORT TO: DIRECTOR OF MAINTENANCEKey DutiesAnswer phones and emails while on duty to coordinate maintenance events with maintenance providers.Keep SOCC informed of aircraft status.Audit approved maintenance providers per the GMM and assist in maintaining authorized vendor data base.Verify documents prior to release from maintenance.Track unscheduled maintenance events per the CASS program.Assist with and track the MEL process.Coordinate technical publications in support of approved vendors.Prioritize equipment repair needs.May provide training to the right candidate.Perform other duties as assigned by management.REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum age of 18 years-old.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.Must be authorized to work in the U.S per the Immigration Act of 1986.Must pass 10-year background check and pre-employment drug screen per airline and/or company regulations.PreferredFAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate.
