The founder recently repurchased the brand from investor partners with the goal of growing the brand and returning it to the role of a category leader.The transformation initiatives will primarily focus on the introduction of innovative products that deliver an improvement in health and wellness. The innovation pipeline will be complimented with updated and best in class marketing tactics. You will be responsible for online sales, site operations, and growth marketing strategy with your primary focus being our Amazon Seller account and a secondary responsibility of our D2C dot com store. You should possess the capability to quickly learn and have some experience with foundational digital and non digital marketing tactics of leading CPG companies. You are enthusiastic about a healthy lifestyle and enjoy plant-based products. You have an intrinsic marketing curiosity and the ability to translate your experience as a consumer with other products or brands and bring those best practices to PlantFusion.Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day operations and administration of our Amazon and D2C ecomm platform, as well as managing a handful of key e-commerce accountsUnderstand, evaluate, and report on the market position, pricing, strategy, marketing efforts and sales techniques of competing products in the e-commerce marketplaceResearching search term data and volumeBuilding AMS search campaigns with performance-driven formattingReporting on results / communicate with internal teamPartner with marketing team to identify, develop and execute initiatives to drive brand awareness, acquisition and positive customer sentimentMonitor existing and emerging food and health trends and how they’re discussed onlineContribute to overall business objectives by developing and delivering projects on-time and on-budgetMinimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant professional experienceWork experience with Shopify and Amazon Seller CentralWeb marketing and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) knowledgeExtensive web analytics skills, with demonstrated proficiency in Google AnalyticsStrong business acumen and financial proficiency, analytical and business planning skillsSuperior communications skills, both verbal and writtenComfort using data to communicate results and refine strategiesExperience working with a consumer package goods companyExperience with Amazon catalog, content, and AMS advertising managementPersonal Attributes: Strong ability to manage multiple long-term and short-term projectsImpeccable attention to detail and high standards of qualityStrong people skills and ability to effectively manage conflict, be flexible and self-directedIntense hunger to learn and develop, and a passion for executing remarkable workExperience being a team player collaborating across departmentsThe ability to solve complex challenges, within a defined frameworkReporting Relationships: The Amazon/E-Comm Specialist will report to the CMOCritical Operating RelationshipsBrand & Marketing ManagersOutsourced Graphic DesignersOutside AgenciesOptimal Expectations: Responsible for converting best practices into a documented process so that work can be “pushed down” to junior staff, allowing both you and the brand leadership to play at a higher levelCapable of framing out a problem, determining causes, and laying out steps and sequencing to move toward solutionsCapable of working cross-functionally, holding others accountable for completing tasks/projects on time while communicating proactively to prevent heroic (hurry up) conditionsIdentify opportunities where the organization can turn individual actions into systematic processes that enables us to build on our base of knowledge and continually improve (quality) programsAbsolutely critical to take “ownership” of your work.
