Position : Assistant General Manager (AGM)
Job Description : Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will direct, and coordinate activities of hotel to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize its full potential with a balanced focus on people, product and profit.Responsibilities include:Assist with Supervision of all department heads.Maintain positive relations with staff through timely complete communication of all items concerning their areas of supervision individually and a department as a whole.Analyze with each department head their goals identified and the action steps to achieve them within the identified length of time.Monitor progress on a set schedule and report achievements and problem areas to the General Manager, their effect on profitability and stability of hotel operations.Insure a positive guest experience through quality and safety of the hotel product.1-2 years of leadership/management experience preferred.At least 3-5 years of hospitality experience is preferred.College degree preferred but not required.IHG brand experience a plus.Skills/ExperienceGuest service experiencePositive attitudeAttention to detailTeam playerOrganizational skillsProfessional written and verbal communicationAbility to walk and stand up to 100% of shift.Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 lbsJob Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:Employee discountPaid time offProfessional development assistanceSchedule:Weekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payWork Location: One location
