Boeing Distribution Inc. (BDI) is seeking an Associate Shipping & Receiving Specialist.
The Shipping & Receiving Specialist completes initial part verification and identification on incoming receipts according to receiving processes and procedures. Processes and confirms receipt documentation for internal/external customers located at our Dallas, TX facility.
Job Description:
Shipping & Receiving
Responsible for the receipt of incoming materials, supplies, and products.
Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
Records received items according to established procedures.
Research
Research and resolve discrepancies between actual product and associated documentation.
Records information as it pertains to received product, including damages, or any discrepancies.
Other
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
Minimum 1 year experience with SAP systems
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds
Must be able to stand for extended period of time to successfully perform the job requirements
TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate) Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
RELOCATION:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
