We are Del Monte Foods – Growers of Good.Reporting to the Marketing Senior Manager Foodservice, the Brand Specialist Foodservice leads a wide variety of projects in support of the overall Foodservice and Food Ingredient business as needed.Responsibilities:Primary Marketing support for the stage gate process for development of new, custom and/or private label products as well as packaging changes and product improvementsCreate and present PIR’s (Project Initiation Requests)Form and lead cross-functional teams including R&D, Operations, Packaging, Material Master Data Governance, Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing associatesEstablish productive relationships with key business stakeholdersEnsure correct item setupsReport out on progress and drive resolution to issues as they ariseLead tactical execution of marketing strategies for Foodservice ChannelsManage external agency creative processManage marketing budget to drive Category Strategy & PlanPlan for and support industry events and tradeshowsManage trade show and point of sale materialsParticipate in various corporate initiatives and project teams as neededSupport all Foodservice strategic business needs including but not exclusive to:Establishing target marginsSupply Chain / PPIC / Packaging / ForecastingInnovation / line extensionsMarketingSales supportQualifications:Must be trained in Brand ManagementCollege degree requiredMBA preferred5+ or more years of relevant experience in Foodservice or consumer packaged goodsUnderstanding of Food Industry, preference for FoodserviceCross-functional team leadershipExperience with Excel, Word, PowerPointProject management skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask against several complex projects at a timeDemonstrates financial acumen (P&L, ROI) and analytical abilitiesStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, to drive collaboration across functionsAble to deal with ambiguity and drive toward actionDel Monte Foods Key BehaviorsGET OUR HANDS DIRTYDig in and understand the business.Stay focused on priorities and drive for results.Pursue goals with purpose and persevere through challenges.CULTIVATE SOLUTIONSImprove processes, products and services.Take calculated risks to develop effective solutions.Use data and insights to drive business performance.GROW SUCCESS TOGETHERCreate an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.Collaborate and promote teamwork to achieve individual and shared goals.Hold ourselves and others accountable for commitments.Del Monte Foods, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
