Position : Castle Park – Admissions
Job Description : Summary: Provide fast and friendly service to our guests in all areas of the department including ticket sellers, annual pass processing, parking attendant, and park receptionist. Roles & Responsibilities: • Welcome and greet all guests as they enter the park • Sell and process various tickets and passes • Check guest’s belongings before entering the park • Answer all guest questions and give proper guidance • Operate Point of Sales (POS) registers, and give appropriate change and receipts when necessary • Activate annual and season passes through point of sales based programs and equipment • Validate online tickets or coupons before allowing guest to enter • Regulate all park communication including incoming calls and radio traffic • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Complete any tasks as requested by Admissions Supervisors or Management • Comply with all park policies, procedures, and labor laws Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Languages: Fluent English. Bilingual skills are helpful.
Skills: • Communication – Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills • Problem Solving/Analysis – Define problems and execute remedial strategies in a timely manner • Flexibility – Maintain a flexible work schedule • Initiative and Adaptability – Take initiative and execute plans Experience: Prior cash handling experience preferred Other: • Must be 16 years or older • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays • Must be able to work in all weather conditions and elements including the direct sun with no shade, cold, rain, dust, and all other outdoor weather elements • Must be able to stand, kneel, walk, stoop, and bend • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs
