SALARY RANGE: $65,158 – $85,493 Annually

O3A is recruiting an experienced, organized, and collaborative individual for the position of Community Programs Manager. Join a mission-driven team advocating for independence and quality community services for older or disabled adults! O3A helps older adults and persons with disabilities maintain their dignity, health and independence in their homes, through a coordinated system of home and community-based services for a four-county service region on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula (Clallam, Jefferson, Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties). The position is intended to be based in the Port Townsend Administrative Office, but location in another O3A office may be considered for the right candidate.
In addition to a competitive salary, O3A employees who work full-time enjoy 25 days of paid leave (accrual based annual leave and holidays) in their first year. Duties

Position Summary: The Community Programs Manager will be responsible for the operation of the Information and Assistance, SHIBA, MIPPA, CLC and other community facing programs. Works in partnership with agency Leadership Team, Planner and other management and service delivery staff to meet regional client service needs. Will lead the agency’s transition to an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) model, working with both external and internal partners. Develops outreach efforts to ensure community services are available throughout O3A’s rural service region, including difficult to serve communities. Develops policies, procedures, and training materials for community services programs. Coordinates services in partnership with other agency team members for service delivery to Tribal elders. Promotes interdepartmental collaboration. Demonstrates strong team building and supervisory skills. The position requires frequent travel both within and outside of the agency’s service area.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in public administration, social work or related field, AND 3 years planning and administrative experience in social and health services, preferably community based; OR
Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, social work or related field, AND 6 years of planning and administrative experience in social and health services, preferably community based.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum of 4 years experience managing community based social service programs and new program development.
Working knowledge of community planning processes in service delivery or non-profit industry.
Successful track record in developing new programs and mobilizing existing community resources.
Experience managing government and private contracts, including competitive bidding, monitoring, and evaluation.
Ability to foster cooperation and teamwork among a variety of people, organizational units and agencies.
