The Corporation for Ohio Appalachian Development (COAD) is a 50-year-old nonprofit organization that provides direct services for Ohio’s Appalachian counties in Early Care and Education, AmeriCorps Seniors, Weatherization and Energy Efficiency, and serves the state of Ohio in its accredited Weatherization Training Center. The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with customers to facilitate the process of them accessing valuable services regarding weatherization of their residence.
Key Responsibilities include:Recruit and schedule appointments for utility programs including WarmChoice and Electric Partnership Program (EPP) inspectionsCollects and stores eligibility recordsInteract with weatherization contractors and Home Weatherization Assistance Program (HWAP) providers to ensure that delivery of the highest quality of services to the utility programsProvide a positive public image in promoting the programs and services of COAD.Attends meetings, conferences and training sessions related to the duties of this position and disseminate acquired information to appropriate individuals inside and outside the corporation.

Key Qualifications:Knowledge of database software; Internet software; Word processing software and spreadsheet software.High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrated effective communication skillsAbility to multi-task and excellent time management skillsPhone sales or related customer service skills
