Job Description : Position: Document Control SpecialistLocation: Seattle, WA (Onsite or remote) Blaze Bioscience, Inc. Our guiding principle when building our greatest asset—our team—is “we hire adults, and we treat them as adults.” If you are excited about becoming part of this team, we want to hear from you.We are seeking a Document Control Specialist to support Quality Management and compliance efforts through administration of document control activities based on ISO and industry documentation best practices and regulatory requirements.This position’s primary responsibilities & accountabilities: Independently perform Document Management activities, including, but not limited to:System admin of the company-wide eQMS and paper filings systems including account creation, training, troubleshooting, management, and system improvementsOversee and execute document control procedures including the creation, formatting, routing, review, approval, distribution, periodic review, and archiving of new and revised controlled documentsCreate and maintain document templates/content to standardize documents across different departments/functional groupsReview documents for adherence to applicable style guides, instructions for authors, or other considerationsTransfer archived documents into the eQMSMaintain Design History FilesReview all QMS documentation for good documentation practicesMaintain and secure file cabinets for hardcopy quality recordsManage Quality Training program:Work with each department to develop and maintain an employee training matrixDevelop a training process in the eQMSCollect and store training recordsAssist in the preparation of documents/metrics for Management Review meetings and maintain meeting recordsMaintain and upload all supplier quality documentsCandidates should have relevant skills, education, and experience, including:BS degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, or similar discipline with 2 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical / biopharmaceutical / medicalExperience with electronic document control systemsGeneral knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or medical device quality management systemsExceptional organizational and communication skillsTeam playerCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementBlaze Bioscience requires that all employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
