We are an equal employment opportunity employer.What do delivery associates do?Work as a team to deliver packages. Follow all driving laws and safety procedures. Conduct inspection of vehicle before departing to load packages. Load packages on cargo van according to company specifications. Deliver packages to customers on your assigned route. Maintain ongoing communication with team lead thru out the day. Meet daily metrics to maintain fantastic driver status. This is a very, very physical job. Get in and out of the van 200x a day delivering 350 packages in a 10 hr shift. Must be mentally strong with a competitive mind set to get the job done safely. Safety is and will always be our top priority. This is a performance based job. Must meet all safety and delivery metrics.Skills and Requirements:Must be 21 years of age or older.Proudly hiring VeteransMust be experienced driver. Min 1 yr. commercial delivery.Must follow all driving laws.Safety is our top priority.100% reliable and report to work on time.Exceptional team player who is customer focused.Pass personal and motor vehicle background check back 7 yrs.Pass drug test.Strong customer skills.Must have a positive and professional get the job done attitude.Physical demands and work environment:Lift up to 50 pounds.Technology Oriented- must use a handheld smart phone device for mapping and to deliver package.Driver associates are required to stand, walk quickly, sit and drive a company provided van. DA is required to reach and lift with both hands, to crouch, stoop, and bend with both legs. DA is required to talk and hear without assistance. DA must be able to move and lift up to 50 lbs. in a single package. Good manual dexterity skills are required as well as good hand/eye coordination. Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:Driver associates drive company vehicles in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Work conditions may be in heat and rain. Must be comfortable working alone and communicating with supervisor through provided mobile devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely delivering of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, capable of exiting and entering delivery van 200 times a day.Work schedule:Ft/Pt positions availableStart time is 11:30 am till about 9:30 pm.
