Position : Entry Level Accounting Clerk
Job Description : Summary: The Entry Level Accountant will provide financial and administrative support by ensuring weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks are completed. This includes reviewing AP/AR aging reports and ensuring they are updated accurately and on time. In addition, this person will monitor the month-end closing checklist by verifying and reconciling all balance sheet accounts. Ideally this is a great position for someone who is just starting their career in Accounting!What you’ll do: Maintain and Reconcile GL while maintaining adherence to GAAP complianceCreates and review aging reports in the accounting software and service software to ensure the collection process is current and vendors are not past dueLead month-end closing by following up and assisting in areas where needed on a case-by-case basis.Cross trained on Accounts Payable & Receivable to step in if needed for employee vacations or sick leaveProvide support for the accounting department with miscellaneous projectsWhat you have: Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Accounting software, Sage Intacct is preferred but not necessaryProficient with Microsoft ExcelAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsAccuracy and attention to detailWorking knowledge of accounting principles, practices and proceduresAble to enter Journal entries using Debits and CreditsWhat we offer: Health Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision after 60 days of employmentLife InsuranceShort & Long term DisabilityPaid Holiday and Vacation (PTO)Delta Mechanical Inc provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and considers all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Location: One location
