Disney’s Executive Support Professionals are highly respected because their skills are essential to the success of the company. You would be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team that focuses on providing quality compensation tools and services for employees across the company and around the world.
This position currently reports to two Vice Presidents, one based in California and one based in Connecticut.
Responsibilities :
You would be responsible for the day-to-day work of the leaders you support. You would also demonstrate the ability to blend a positive attitude, flexibility, discretion and command while managing multiple priorities including strong calendar management skills, strong phone skills, planning and organizing the Executive’s day, planning travel, ordering supplies, creating purchase orders, preparing and distributing written communication, event support, and expense reports.
The team is seeking a candidate with exceptional delivery of assertive professionalism, a self-starter able to anticipate needs and handle highly confidential and sensitive information, drive work products and showcase action-oriented follow-through, master technology and a variety of computer programs, and meet impromptu demands. On any given day you might:
Coordinate multiple meetings and calendars and take a proactive approach to ensuring the offices of the VPs are organized and efficient
Perform as a proactive member of the team while supporting the Executives, and at times the extended team around the world
Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and providing back-up support to the Assistant to the Senior Vice President of HR DMED as needed
Onboard new team members including arranging computer equipment, tech access, and meet & greets for a seamless and welcoming experience
Basic Qualifications :
Here’s what you will need to be successful in this job:
Minimum three years of related administrative experience in generally comparable functions
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to assure professional interaction with senior executives, internal partners, and external contacts
Demonstrated strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Ability to appropriately respond to and resolve issues with little direction
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to manage time wisely and prioritize effectively
Anticipate needs, take initiative, proactively problem-solve using sound judgment and handle confidential and sensitive information
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Zoom Video Conferencing, Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Purchasing (Office Supplies, Computer Hardware, etc.)
Required Education :
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education :
Associate’s degree preferred
