Job Description : Showtime Networks Inc. (SNI) owns and operates the premium television networks SHOWTIME®, THE MOVIE CHANNEL™ and FLIX®, and also offers SHOWTIME ON DEMAND®, THE MOVIE CHANNEL™ ON DEMAND and FLIX ON DEMAND®, and the network’s authentication service SHOWTIME ANYTIME®. Showtime Digital Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SNI, operates the stand-alone streaming service SHOWTIME®. SHOWTIME is currently available to subscribers via cable, DBS, and telco providers, and as a stand-alone streaming service through Amazon, Apple®, Google, LG Smart TVs, Oculus Go, Roku®, Samsung Smart TVs and Xbox One.
The Original Programming team at Showtime is seeking an Executive Assistant for our VP, Original Programming! We are looking for a candidate that will perform an array of administrative, project management, and development duties.
Responsibilities:
Managing high volume calendar
Answering phones, rolling calls and maintaining call log
Coordinating travel arrangements
Completing and submitting expense reports
Circulating confidential and timely information and materials to the appropriate parties
Researching potential projects and upcoming meeting participants
Track and provide notes and ideas on story documents (outlines, scripts, season documents, etc) for all current and development projects
Working with the directors, writers, producers and post-production team on projects in development and/or filming in various capacities such as payment approval, monitoring network requirements, etc.
Coordinating table reads, screenings and meetings on behalf of the original programming department
Tracking and highlighting pertinent press and online publicity
Maintaining up-to-date logs on submissions and pitches
Read and write coverage on some submitted scripts
Maintaining discretion on sensitive projects.
Basic Qualifications:
1 +years of previous assistant experience (strong internship experience considered)
Bachelor’s Degree required
Additional Qualifications:
Strong Microsoft Office and Outlook skills
Appropriate phone and office etiquette, and writing skills (grammar, spelling)
Should have experience rolling calls
Knowledge of the media/entertainment industry
Eager to learn and grow in the job
