Position : Flight Follower
Job Description : Alaska Central Express is currently accepting resumes for a Flight Follower / Dispatch position. We prefer Licensed Aircraft Dispatcher but is not a requirement if you have aviation experience. Must be willing to work in a fast paced work environment and have the ability to multi-task.
Flight Followers Duties.
Responsible directly to the Dispatch Supervisor.
Perform daily flight planning using Foreflight Dispatch software.
Checks for regulatory flight compliance with regulations.
Communicates with flight crews and company during the flights.
Coordinates with outstations for arrival ETA’s and provides related station paperwork and station requests.
Load planning with cargo department.
Passenger load planning with Charter Sales department.
Updates company internal software (AceTrac) with flight related data.
Controls flight paperwork records and audits.
Provides initial emergency response notification for the company.
AOG notification to distro list.
Prepares flight paperwork, Weather packets, Hazmat paperwork, Cargo load manifests, Passenger loads and manifests, Other associated flight paper work.
Will discuss schedule during the interview. Flexibility is required as it is a small department.
Drug screening and CHRC 10 Year Background Check required
Job Type: Full-time
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
