The Financial Management Division located in the Aerospace Systems Directorate (AFRL/RQF) currently has a DO-0501-02, Financial Specialist position available in the Science and Technology Funds Branch (RQFS) supporting the Rocket Propulsion and High Speed Systems Finance Section (RQFSP).
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a financial analyst performing a variety of tasks in support of budget, cost analysis, and financial analysis studies and projects to develop analytical, judgment, procedural and technical skills across a geographically diverse section. Workload includes but is not limited to, performing avariety of tasks to support budget formulation, tasks involving budget execution, tasks in support of cost analyses, using automated financial management databases and systems and their products, and carrying out special assignments.
Required Qualifications
United States Citizenship
Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security Clearance
Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the DO-01 (GS-11 or equivalent) grade level or above.
Requires Non-Critical APDP certification Level 2 in Financial Management (K)
