We’re looking for tech-savvy problem-solvers who excel in an environment where every detail matters, to join our rapidly expanding Fraud team as Fraud Operations Specialists.
As a Fraud Operations Specialist, you can choose to work from our beautiful headquarters office in Richmond, VA or 100% remotely from your home – or a little bit of both! We are currently hiring remote Fraud Operations Specialists in AR, AZ, FL, MO, PA, TX and VA.

You’ll be on the front-line, keeping our customers safe from identity theft, playing a vital role in delivering on our mission to help people thrive. Fraudulent applications or transactions would be financially devastating to our customers – and that just won’t do. By protecting our customers from fraud, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of the financially vulnerable population we serve.
As a Fraud Operations Specialist, you will
Detect, mitigate and investigate potential fraud threats.
Utilize third party data providers to gather and review information to make risk assessments on customer accounts
Request, review and approve identity verification
Make outbound calls to Mission Lane cardholders and potential victims of fraud
Assist customers who have been victimized by fraudulent account activity
Listen to calls for voice authentication & trend detection
You’ll thrive in this role if:
You have call center or customer service related experience
You have extreme attention to detail
You are comfortable with technology and can navigate multiple screens and systems concurrently
You’re highly adaptable to changing circumstances
You’re a self-starter
You have great communication skills – written, verbal and listening
You work well in a team environment to accomplish common goals
You think critically and analytically, analyzing data points to assess risk
You’re great at reviewing issues, evaluating conditions, and employing independent judgment and discretion to determine the best way to move forward
You can manage multiple requests with little oversight
You have a quiet, distraction-free, work area
You have a High School diploma or GED
Financial Services industry is a plus – but not required!
