Job Description : About usSpiral Pipe of Texas, Inc.Family Owned Custom Sheet Metal ManufacturerResponsibilities & DutiesReceive, check and store all incoming material.Perform monthly and as needed inventory counts – identify and research discrepancies.Supervise year-end inventory counts.Maintain accurate inventory levels and efficiently organize material storage.Track inventory levels and notify Purchasing with reorder alerts.Monitor consumables and generate purchase orders when needed.Maintain computer based inventory tracking system.Manage steel scrap pickups and tracking.Meet with vendors to gather purchasing information.Qualifications & SkillsMaterial Management/ Inventory Control knowledge & experience (3 years preferred).Microsoft Excel – proficient.Forklift experience – hands-on position with material movement, cycle counts, etc.Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and be flexible as conditions change.Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.Work RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
