If you enjoy working outdoors, operating off-road vehicles, and learning about and sharing our beautiful Sonoran Desert and State, this job may be for you.Responsibilities & Duties: Transport guests in an open-air Jeep through rugged Tonto National Forest trails in most weather conditionsTeach guests from around the world about Sonoran desert flora, fauna, history, etcBasic off-road vehicle maintenanceQualifications: Must be 25 years of age (insurance requirement)Good driving recordMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to pass a USDOT medical examination and a criminal background checkMust be willing and able to commute to North Scottsdale, ArizonaCompensation: Base salary starts at $16.25. Immediate raise available upon completion of probationary periodTour guides keep 100% of guest gratuity, which is typically up to $300 per 4-hour tourMonthly bonuses based on positive guest feedbackTour Guide Training Program: Includes self-paced at-home study materials on Sonoran desert plants, animals, and history4x4 vehicle training and certificationFirst aid certificationAbout the company: Off-Road Jeep Adventures is Scottsdale’s 2020-2021 #1 ranked outdoor activity by TripAdvisor and recipient of the 2021 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Award — a prestigious travel award given to the top 1% of experiences in the world.
