Job Description : Laundry Attendant-HotelWe are currently seeking Laundry Attendants to join our team at the DoubleTree by Hilton located in Binghamton, NY. We provide training.Apply here or in person at 225 Water Street, Binghamton, NY 13901****Job DescriptionOur Laundry Attendants load articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent; Start machines that automatically washes and rinses articles; Lift clean, wet articles from washer and place them successively into dryers for measured time cycles; Sorts dried articles according to identification numbers or type; Fold and place items in appropriate area/storage; Soak contaminated articles in neutralizer solution in vat to precondition articles for washing; Are responsible for reclaim items; Maintain a clean and safe work environment; Assist with linen inventory; Possess knowledge of all aspects of facility; Participate in team and company meetings; Attends monthly department meetings; Completes projects as determined by Management; Nights, weekends, and holidays required; Have computer skills and the ability to learn hotel operating system, MS office and internet.Additional Job Requirements: · Hotel experience preferred but not required.
