Our teams are passionate about delivering world class products and service to our customers through design, manufacturing, and technical support.What is the Role: Under the general direction of the Logistics Supervisor, this position will be directly involved with day-to-day activities within the KB shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory functions. The ideal candidate will be very attentive to detail, reliable, and ambitious.https://geminibakeryequipment.com/Who you are: · You will be active in the shipping process by:o Preparing jobs for shipment: Includes, but not limited to, pulling parts from Shop & Sales Orders, organizing, palletizing, and loading equipment.o Preparing Bills of Lading for LTL shipments. Checking items to be shipped against sales orders to verify that quantities, destination, and shipment requirements are met.o Entering parcel shipments through UPS Worldship softwareo Providing technical support when required for site installation and service callso Sorting, counting, packaging, labeling, and insuring, product that has been shipped.· You will be active in the receiving process by:o Receiving and unloading incoming materials and inspecting for damages.§ Unpacking, and/or logging inventory/material§ Compare information on packing slip against purchase orders to verify accuracy of receipts§ Providing specifications and designs to outside equipment suppliers as part of an overall equipment design solution· You will participate in the physical inventory process by:o Maintaining the warehouse and ensuring that stock is all stock is organized on shelves.o Ensuring that inventory transactions occur with every movement of parts.What You Bring: · High School Diploma or equivalent· Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing environment· Ability and willingness to lift 50 plus pounds frequently, occasionally 75lbs· Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment.· The ability and willingness to follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.· The desire to strive for continuous quality improvement and upholding safety standards.· The ability to build large & custom crates/pallets (up to 24’ long).o Must show competency/comfortability using power tools (Miter Saw/Nail Gun/Drill/Impact/Circular Saw).o Must have a moderate level of competency in reading prints/schematics.· Demonstrate the ability and willingness to continually take part in the activities of all team members within the Logistics Department· The willingness to occasionally support operations outside of your normal daily workflowWhat Else Would Be Helpful: · Familiarity with wooden pallet/crate construction· UPS Worldship Software & FEDEX online experience· Familiarity with LTL shipping procedures· Forklift experienceWhat’s In It for You: · 401k Matching Program· Tuition assistance· Health, Vision, and Dental benefits· Company paid short term disability and life insurance· Voluntary Life Insurance for Employee and Spouse and voluntary Long-Term Disability· Competitive Paid Time Off program, plus eight (8) company paid holidays and one (1) personal day· Gemini Cares Program (matches donations for employee nominated charities each quarter)Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Bangor, PA 18013: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)Warehouse: 3 years (Preferred)Language:English (Preferred)License/Certification:Forklift Certification (Preferred)Work Location: One location
