Job Description : R&J Trucking Inc.Position: Logistics Coordinator Team MemberR&J Trucking is a family owned and operated asset-based carrier specializing in the transport of bulk commodities throughout the Eastern United States. R&J focuses on our outstanding CUSTOMER Service, delivered by dedicated and safe DRIVERS, utilizing well-maintained EQUIPMENT to drive our success. Pay will depend on experience.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all Dry Bulk Tanker freight within an assigned area. Operationally responsible to procure freight, coordinate incident free pickup/delivery, reaffirm proper paperwork submission for accurate invoicing and driver pay.Benefits of Partnering with R&J Trucking include: Benefits package for full time employees including health, vision, and dental insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid vacation and holidaysCompensation commensurate with experienceTeam Members within our Operations Department: Communicate and coordinate directly with customers to service tendered shipmentsAssess customer needs and timing of deliveries relative to available capacity and resourcesPoint of Contact for all Drivers. Manage delivery schedule, paperwork submission, routing, Etc.Responsible for Driver; Compliance, Safety, Maintenance and Billing procedure reinforcementsEnsure contamination-free delivery service through administering company dispatch proceduresProvide frontline customer service for existing accountsSolicit freight from customersAnswer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteouslyMonitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team membersCreate and plan orders in planning schedules and dispatch system in coordination with team membersDivide dispatch responsibilities with other team membersOn-call duties as needed and ability to work remotelyRequirements Potential Team Members should have: High school diploma or equivalentPrevious Plastics/Resins Experience preferredExperience in Transportation, Bulk or Tank logistics preferredSelf-Starter mentality and ability to work independently or in a team environmentExcellent conflict resolution skillsEffective oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsR&J Trucking Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
